Job Description:
The Account Executive will be an integral part of our finance team, primarily responsible for handling day-to-day accounting tasks, maintaining financial records, and ensuring compliance with relevant tax laws, particularly regarding GST. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in accounting, with a strong background in Tally and a solid understanding of GST regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Record Keeping and Management:
– Accurately recording financial transactions in Tally software.
– Managing accounts payable and receivable, and maintaining up-to-date records.
– Preparing and presenting regular financial reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly).

2. GST Compliance and Management:
– Ensuring adherence to GST regulations.
– Preparing and filing monthly, quarterly, and annual GST returns.
– Reconciling GST ledgers and addressing any discrepancies.

3. Budgeting and Forecasting:
– Assisting in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
– Analyzing financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights.

4. Audit and Compliance:
– Coordinating with internal and external auditors during financial audits.
– Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
– Keeping abreast of changes in financial regulations and legislation.

5. Cash Flow Management:
– Monitoring and managing the company’s cash flow.
– Preparing cash flow statements and identifying ways to improve financial efficiency.

6. Stakeholder Communication:

– Communicating with suppliers and clients regarding billing and payments.

7. Continuous Improvement:

– Implementing best practices in financial management.

Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
– 1-2 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the manufacturing sector.
– Proficiency in Tally and comprehensive knowledge of GST regulations.
– Understanding of general finance and budgeting, including profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash-flow management.

Skills Required:
– Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data.
– Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
– Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections.
– Working knowledge of short and long-term budgeting and forecasting.
– Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
