Job Description:
The Account Executive will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing the financial aspects of our company. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in accounting, with 1-2 years of experience, particularly with Tally and GST. This role involves a broad range of responsibilities from managing accounts to ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Record Keeping and Management:
– Maintain and manage all financial records, including ledgers, journals, and invoices.
– Ensure accurate and timely entry of all transactions in Tally.
– Handle accounts payable and receivable, and manage cash flow.

2. GST and Taxation:
– Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual GST returns.
– Keep abreast of the latest GST regulations and ensure compliance.
– Handle other taxation matters, including TDS, and liaise with tax consultants.

3. Budgeting and Forecasting:
– Assist in preparing the annual budget and periodic financial forecasts.
– Analyze financial data and create reports for management’s review.
– Monitor budget variances and report significant discrepancies.

4. Auditing and Compliance:
– Coordinate with internal and external auditors during financial and tax audits.
– Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulatory requirements.
– Implement and maintain internal financial controls and procedures.

5. Accounts Reconciliation:
– Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
– Perform month-end and year-end account reconciliations.

6. Financial Reporting:
– Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
– Generate regular reports on expenses, budgets, and other financial metrics.
– Provide insights into financial performance and suggest areas for improvement.

7. Stakeholder Communication:
– Communicate with vendors, clients, and internal teams regarding financial transactions and policies.
– Address and resolve queries related to accounts and finance.

8. Process Improvement:
– Continuously evaluate and improve financial processes and systems for increased efficiency and accuracy.
– Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in accounting.

9. Team Collaboration:
– Work closely with other departments to ensure financial integrity and support business operations.
– Participate in team meetings and contribute to departmental goals.

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
– 1-2 years of relevant experience in accounting, with a strong focus on Tally and GST.
– Proficient in accounting software, particularly Tally ERP 9.
– Solid understanding of GST laws and regulations.
