Role Overview:
The Electrical Engineer (Panel Expert) will play a crucial role in designing and developing electrical panels for our automation solutions and products. The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a strong background in panel design and fabrication. They will be responsible for leading panel design projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer requirements. Key Responsibilities:

1. Panel Design and Development:
– Lead the design and development of electrical panels for automation solutions, power supplies, PLC Controllers, and other products.
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design engineers, production engineers, and technicians, to ensure panel designs meet technical specifications and performance requirements.
– Utilize CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, EPLAN) to create detailed panel layouts, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
– Select appropriate components and materials for panel construction, considering factors such as electrical requirements, space constraints, and cost-effectiveness.
– Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations governing electrical panel design and fabrication.

2. Panel Fabrication and Testing:
– Oversee the fabrication and assembly of electrical panels, working closely with production teams to ensure accuracy and quality.
– Conduct functional testing and validation of panels to verify performance, functionality, and safety.
– Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or discrepancies identified during testing, implementing design modifications or improvements as needed.
– Collaborate with quality assurance teams to establish and maintain quality control processes for panel fabrication and testing.

3. Project Management and Coordination:
– Manage multiple panel design projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and allocating resources effectively to meet project deadlines.
– Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to procure components and materials for panel fabrication, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effective solutions.
– Communicate regularly with project stakeholders, providing updates on project status, milestones, and any issues or challenges encountered.
– Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and technicians involved in panel design and fabrication activities.

4. Documentation and Compliance:
– Maintain accurate documentation and records related to panel design, fabrication, testing, and validation.
– Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and quality management systems.
– Prepare technical specifications, user manuals, and installation guides for electrical panels, ensuring clarity and accuracy of information for end-users.

Qualifications and Skills:
– Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
– 5-8 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on panel design and fabrication.
– Proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD or EPLAN, for panel layout and schematic design.
– Strong knowledge of electrical components, systems, and controls, with experience in automation solutions and PLC programming.
