Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Account Executive to join our finance team. This role requires a candidate with 1-2 years of experience in accounting, specifically with proficiency in Tally and a strong understanding of GST regulations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing our financial records, processing invoices, and ensuring compliance with financial laws and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Record Keeping:
– Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation.
– Handle accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of transactions.

2. Invoice Processing and Reconciliation:
– Issue invoices and manage the collection process.
– Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies.

3. GST Compliance and Reporting:
– Ensure compliance with GST regulations.
– Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual GST returns.
– Manage GST-related queries and guide other departments.

4. Tally ERP 9 Operations:
– Utilize Tally for various accounting operations.
– Generate financial reports using Tally as required.

5. Budgeting and Forecasting:
– Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
– Monitor budget variances and report significant issues to management.

6. Payroll Management:
– Process payroll transactions in a timely and accurate manner.
– Handle payroll-related queries from employees.

7. Financial Analysis and Reporting:
– Prepare regular financial reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annually).
– Analyze financial data and provide insights to management for decision-making.

8. Internal Controls and Audits:
– Ensure adherence to financial policies and regulations.
– Assist in internal and external audits.

9. Stakeholder Communication:
– Liaise with vendors, clients, and internal teams for financial operations.
– Address and resolve financial queries from stakeholders.

10. Continuous Improvement:
– Identify opportunities for process improvement in financial operations.
– Keep abreast of changes in financial regulations and best practices.

Candidate Profile:

– Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
– Experience: 1-2 years of experience in an accounting role, with hands-on experience in Tally and a solid understanding of GST.
Essential Skills:
– Proficiency in Tally ERP 9 and MS Office, especially Excel.
– Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
– Familiarity with GST laws and compliance requirements.
– Good analytical skills and attention to detail.
