Role Overview:
The BAMS Doctor plays a crucial role in providing primary healthcare services, diagnosing illnesses, prescribing treatments, and promoting preventive care strategies to patients. With 3-5 years of experience in Ayurvedic medicine, the ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, empathy, and a commitment to patient-centered care. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the health and well-being of our patients while working in a dynamic and collaborative healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Patient Consultation and Evaluation:
– Conduct thorough medical consultations with patients, taking detailed medical histories, performing physical examinations, and evaluating symptoms to diagnose medical conditions and develop appropriate treatment plans.
– Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as laboratory tests, imaging studies, and specialized procedures, to aid in the diagnosis and management of patients’ health conditions.
– Provide personalized medical advice, counseling, and education to patients on preventive healthcare measures, lifestyle modifications, and treatment options based on Ayurvedic principles.

2. Treatment Planning and Management:
– Prescribe Ayurvedic medicines, herbal remedies, dietary supplements, and therapeutic procedures to address patients’ health concerns, alleviate symptoms, and promote holistic healing and wellness.
– Monitor patients’ progress and response to treatment, adjusting medication dosages, treatment regimens, and lifestyle recommendations as needed to optimize therapeutic outcomes and promote recovery.
– Collaborate with other healthcare providers, including allopathic doctors, specialists, and allied health professionals, to coordinate patient care, referrals, and interdisciplinary treatment plans.

3. Health Promotion and Disease Prevention:
– Educate patients and their families on preventive healthcare practices, including dietary modifications, lifestyle adjustments, stress management techniques, and wellness strategies to enhance overall health and prevent disease.
– Conduct community outreach programs, health education workshops, and wellness seminars to raise awareness about Ayurvedic principles, traditional medicine, and holistic approaches to health and well-being.
– Participate in public health initiatives, disease surveillance activities, and health promotion campaigns aimed at addressing prevalent health issues and improving population health outcomes.

4. Documentation and Compliance:
– Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, treatment plans, progress notes, and other documentation in compliance with regulatory standards, hospital policies, and professional ethics.
– Ensure confidentiality, privacy, and security of patient information, adhering to HIPAA regulations and confidentiality guidelines in the handling and storage of medical records and personal health information.

Qualifications and Skills:

– Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) degree from a recognized institution.
– Valid registration with the State Ayurvedic Board or Council.
– 3-5 years of clinical experience as a practicing BAMS Doctor, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting.
– Proficiency in Ayurvedic diagnosis, treatment modalities, and therapeutic interventions, with a deep understanding of Ayurvedic principles and practices.
– Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients, families, and colleagues.
– Empathy, compassion, and a patient-centered approach to healthcare delivery.
– Commitment to continuous learning, professional development, and evidence-based practice in Ayurvedic medicine.
