Role Overview:
The E-Commerce Account Manager plays a pivotal role in managing and optimizing our presence on various e-commerce platforms, including Amazon, Flipkart, Meesho, and others. With 3-5 years of experience in e-commerce management and a deep understanding of online marketplaces, the ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales, managing product listings, and implementing strategies to enhance brand visibility and profitability. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead our e-commerce initiatives and drive growth in online sales channels.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Account Management:
– Manage and optimize product listings, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and alignment with brand guidelines on e-commerce platforms such as Amazon, Flipkart, Meesho, etc.
– Monitor and analyze sales performance, traffic metrics, and customer feedback to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
– Develop and maintain strong relationships with key account managers and platform representatives, leveraging insights and resources to drive growth and maximize sales.

2. Sales Optimization:
– Develop and implement strategies to increase product visibility, conversion rates, and sales velocity on e-commerce platforms, including search optimization, advertising campaigns, and promotional activities.
– Monitor competitor activity and market trends, identifying opportunities for competitive pricing, product differentiation, and market positioning.
– Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop product launches, promotions, and marketing campaigns tailored to the e-commerce channel.

3. Inventory Management:
– Coordinate with internal teams, including production, logistics, and inventory management, to ensure optimal inventory levels and availability for e-commerce fulfillment.
– Manage inventory replenishment, forecasting, and allocation strategies to prevent stockouts, minimize overstock, and optimize inventory turnover rates.
– Implement inventory optimization techniques, such as dropshipping, vendor-managed inventory, and just-in-time fulfillment, to streamline operations and reduce costs.

4. Customer Experience and Satisfaction:
– Monitor and respond to customer reviews, inquiries, and feedback on e-commerce platforms, providing timely and helpful assistance to address customer concerns and enhance satisfaction.
– Implement best practices for customer service, order fulfillment, and returns management to ensure a positive shopping experience and maintain high customer ratings and reviews.
– Analyze customer data and behavior to identify opportunities for personalized marketing, cross-selling, and upselling strategies to increase customer lifetime value.

5. Performance Reporting and Analysis:
– Generate regular reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs), including sales revenue, conversion rates, average order value, and return on investment (ROI).
– Conduct in-depth analysis of sales data, customer behavior, and market trends to derive actionable insights and recommendations for continuous improvement and optimization.
– Present findings and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders, communicating the impact of e-commerce initiatives on overall business performance.

Qualifications and Skills:

– Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, E-Commerce, or a related field.
– 3-5 years of experience in e-commerce account management, preferably in the manufacturing or consumer goods industry.
– Proven track record of success in driving sales and revenue growth on e-commerce platforms such as Amazon, Flipkart, Meesho, etc.
– Strong understanding of e-commerce best practices, trends, and technologies, with expertise in search engine optimization (SEO), digital marketing, and online advertising.
– Proficiency in e-commerce analytics tools and platforms, such as Google Analytics, Amazon Seller Central, Flipkart Seller Hub, etc.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal teams, external partners, and platform representatives.
– Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, capable of interpreting data and deriving actionable insights to drive business results.
