Job Overview:
The Operations Executive will be instrumental in managing the day-to-day operations of our e-commerce platform. This role encompasses a broad range of responsibilities, including logistics management, inventory control, order processing, and customer service excellence. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in e-commerce operations, with a proven ability to optimize processes, manage a team, and drive results.

 Key Responsibilities:

Operational Excellence:
– Oversee and manage the daily operations of the e-commerce platform, ensuring smooth and efficient processes from order placement to fulfillment.
– Implement and monitor effective logistics and supply chain strategies to ensure timely delivery of orders.
– Coordinate with warehouse and inventory teams to manage stock levels, including monitoring of inbound and outbound logistics, to prevent stockouts and overstocking.

 Inventory and Supplier Management:
– Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure quality of products and timely delivery.
– Utilize inventory management systems to accurately track stock levels and movements.
– Conduct regular inventory audits and analyses to optimize inventory turnover and reduce costs.

Customer Satisfaction and Service:
– Lead the customer service team to ensure that all customer inquiries and issues are resolved promptly and to the customer’s satisfaction.
– Implement customer feedback mechanisms to gather insights and improve the overall shopping experience.
– Monitor and improve the returns management process, making it seamless and customer-friendly.

Team Leadership and Development:
– Manage and mentor a team of operations staff, fostering a culture of teamwork, continuous improvement, and excellence.
– Conduct regular training sessions to enhance the team’s skills and knowledge in e-commerce best practices and technologies.
– Set clear team goals and performance metrics, reviewing performance regularly and providing constructive feedback.

Data Analysis and Reporting:
– Analyze operational data to identify trends, forecast demand, and inform decision-making.
– Generate regular reports on operational performance, including but not limited to order volume, fulfillment accuracy, and customer service metrics.
– Work closely with the finance team to manage budgets and control operational costs.

 Candidate Profile:

– Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
– Experience: 2-3 years of relevant experience in e-commerce operations, logistics, or supply chain management.


– Proficient in the use of e-commerce platforms, inventory management systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
– Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
– Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
