Job Overview:
As a Purchase Executive at , you will play a crucial role in our supply chain management, ensuring the timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services. You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end procurement process, from identifying suppliers to negotiating contracts and monitoring supplier performance. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Supplier Identification and Evaluation:
– Research and identify potential suppliers, conducting thorough evaluations to assess their capabilities, reliability, and quality of products/services.
– Maintain a comprehensive database of approved suppliers, regularly updating information to ensure accuracy.

2. Negotiation and Contract Management:
– Negotiate favorable terms and conditions with suppliers, aiming to secure the best possible deals in terms of price, quality, and delivery.
– Draft, review, and manage supplier contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and company standards.

3. Purchase Order Processing:
– Generate purchase orders accurately and in a timely manner, reflecting negotiated terms and specifications.
– Collaborate with internal stakeholders to confirm order requirements and resolve any discrepancies.

4. Supplier Relationship Management:
– Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, addressing any issues promptly and fostering collaboration for mutual benefit.
– Periodically assess supplier performance and conduct supplier audits to ensure adherence to quality and delivery standards.

5. Cost Analysis and Budget Management:
– Conduct cost analysis to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
– Work closely with the finance team to manage procurement budgets effectively.

6. Market Research:
– Stay informed about market trends, pricing, and industry developments to make informed decisions and recommendations.
– Propose and implement strategies to adapt to changing market conditions.

7. Risk Management:
– Identify and assess potential risks in the supply chain, implementing strategies to mitigate risks and ensure continuity of supply.

8. Compliance and Documentation:
– Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies in all procurement activities.
– Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation related to procurement processes.

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
– Proven experience as a Purchase Executive or in a similar role within the [industry/sector].
– Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Proficient in the use of procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
– Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
