Job Summary:
The Toolroom Maintenance Specialist will be responsible for maintaining and overseeing all toolroom activities, ensuring the optimal functioning of tools and equipment used in our manufacturing processes. This role demands a professional with 5-10 years of experience in fabrication, along with a deep understanding of toolroom operations, maintenance, and management.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Toolroom Management:
– Oversee the daily operations of the toolroom, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in all activities.
– Implement management systems for tracking tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures.

2. Maintenance and Repair:
– Conduct regular maintenance and repairs on tooling equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure their longevity.
– Develop and implement a preventive maintenance program for all toolroom machinery and equipment.

3. Fabrication and Modification:
– Fabricate, modify, and repair tooling as per the requirements of the manufacturing process.
– Work closely with the production team to understand their tooling needs and provide timely support.

4. Quality Assurance:
– Ensure that all tools and equipment meet specific quality standards and are compliant with industry regulations.
– Collaborate with the quality assurance team to maintain the quality of tools and the final product.

5. Inventory Management:
– Manage tool inventory, ensuring the availability of critical tools and ordering new tools as required.
