- Manage team dynamics, including time-off approvals, hiring, and employment decisions.
Quality Assurance
- Ensure that all manufactured products meet or exceed customer quality requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of inward material non-conformities (NC) and address delays in inspection calls promptly.
- Collaborate with the quality team to develop and implement weekly corrective and preventive action plans.
Productivity and Efficiency
- Schedule machines and staff to maximize productivity while minimizing waste.
- Identify and implement processes and procedures that enhance efficiency and product quality.
- Monitor productivity through visual charts and intuitive knowledge, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
Maintenance and 5S Implementation
- Oversee equipment operation and maintenance, ensuring repairs are called for and completed promptly.
- Maintain optimal machine conditions to avoid disruptions in production.
- Implement 5S principles in the production process, conducting monthly audits to ensure compliance.
Team Training and Development
- Train, guide, and motivate the production team to ensure optimal resource utilization.
- Develop and maintain a quarterly training calendar, ensuring all team members are trained on relevant SOPs.
