Production Manager Job – Role Overview:

As a Production Manager Job at Paras Industries, you will be responsible for leading and managing our production team, optimizing manufacturing processes, and ensuring the efficient and timely production of high-quality plastic and rubber components. With 10-15 years of experience in production management, preferably in the plastic or rubber molding industry, the ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a track record of driving operational excellence.

Production Manager Job – Key Responsibilities:

1. Production Planning and Scheduling:
– Develop production plans, schedules, and workflows to meet customer demand, production targets, and delivery deadlines.
– Coordinate with sales, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials, resources, and equipment for production activities.

2. Team Leadership and Management:
– Lead, motivate, and mentor production staff, including supervisors, operators, and technicians, to achieve performance goals, maintain high productivity levels, and uphold quality standards.
– Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback and coaching, and implement training programs to enhance team skills and capabilities.

3. Process Optimization and Improvement:
– Analyze production processes, identify inefficiencies, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and optimize resource utilization.
– Implement lean manufacturing principles, 5S methodology, and other best practices to streamline workflows, minimize downtime, and maximize throughput.

4. Quality Assurance and Control:
– Establish and maintain quality control procedures, standards, and inspection protocols to ensure the production of defect-free plastic and rubber components.
– Monitor production output, conduct regular quality audits, and address non-conformities or deviations to meet customer specifications and regulatory requirements.

5. Health, Safety, and Environmental Compliance:
– Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards in all production activities, implementing measures to prevent accidents, injuries, and environmental pollution.
– Conduct regular safety inspections, provide safety training to production personnel, and promote a culture of safety awareness and adherence to safety protocols.

6. Budgeting and Cost Control:
– Develop and manage production budgets, monitor expenses, and identify opportunities to optimize costs, improve efficiency, and achieve cost-saving targets.
– Collaborate with finance and procurement teams to negotiate favorable terms with suppliers, optimize inventory levels, and minimize production expenses.

Production Manager Job – Qualifications and Skills:

– Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
– 10-15 years of experience in production management, preferably in the plastic or rubber molding industry.
– Strong technical knowledge of plastic and rubber molding processes, equipment, and materials.
– Proven leadership skills, with the ability to motivate teams, drive performance, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
– Excellent problem-solving abilities, analytical skills, and decision-making capabilities.
