Field Service Technician job-Role Overview

As a Field Service Technician job at NANDINI ENTREPRENEUR EQUIPMENTS PVT. LTD., you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing our range of industrial equipment at customer sites. With 1-3 years of experience in field service or maintenance, the ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a customer-focused mindset. This role offers the opportunity to work independently, interact with clients, and contribute to the success of our company.

Field Service Technician job-Key Responsibilities:

1. Installation and Commissioning:
– Install and set up industrial equipment, including Pipe Threading Machines, Pipe Grooving Machines, and other machinery, at customer locations according to manufacturer specifications.
– Perform functional testing and calibration procedures to ensure equipment operates efficiently and meets performance requirements.

2. Maintenance and Repair:
– Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and routine servicing of machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
– Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, identify root causes of problems, and implement corrective actions to restore functionality.

3. Technical Support and Training:
– Provide technical support and assistance to customers, including troubleshooting issues over the phone, email, or on-site visits.
– Train customers on proper equipment operation, maintenance procedures, and safety protocols to optimize performance and prolong equipment lifespan.

4. Documentation and Reporting:
– Maintain accurate service records, including equipment service history, maintenance schedules, and spare parts inventory.
– Prepare service reports, work orders, and documentation for customer visits, detailing work performed, parts used, and recommendations for future maintenance or repairs.

5. Customer Relationship Management:
– Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by delivering exceptional service, addressing their needs promptly, and ensuring satisfaction with our products and services.
– Act as a liaison between customers and internal departments, providing feedback and insights to improve product quality and service delivery.

Field Service Technician job-Qualifications and Skills:

– Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or related field.
– 1-3 years of experience in field service, maintenance, or technical support, preferably in the industrial equipment or machinery industry.
– Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, with the ability to read schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals.
– Proficiency in using hand and power tools, diagnostic equipment, and testing instruments for equipment repair and maintenance.
– Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with customers and internal stakeholders.
– Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to customer sites as required.
