ITI Electrician job-role Overview:

The ITI Electrician job will be responsible for electrical connection work, earthing testing, and the maintenance and repair of electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems across different sites in the NCR and nearby localities. This role requires a dedicated professional with a strong technical background, hands-on experience, and the ability to work independently. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of relevant experience and be ready to join our team immediately.

ITI Electrician job-Responsibilities:

1. Electrical Connection Work:
– Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures in compliance with regulations and codes.
– Perform electrical installations, including wiring, conduit work, and connecting electrical components.
– Ensure proper electrical connections for various machinery and equipment used in the manufacturing process.
– Conduct regular inspections and testing of electrical connections to ensure safety and functionality.

2. Earthing Testing:
– Conduct earthing testing to ensure that all electrical systems are properly grounded.
– Install and maintain earthing systems for various sites, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
– Diagnose and repair issues related to earthing systems to prevent electrical hazards.
– Maintain accurate records of earthing test results and any corrective actions taken.

3. Maintenance and Repair:
– Troubleshoot and repair electrical control systems, wiring, and lighting systems in manufacturing facilities and other sites.
– Perform regular maintenance checks to ensure all electrical systems are in good working condition.
– Replace faulty components, such as circuit breakers, fuses, switches, and wiring.
– Respond promptly to emergency calls for electrical repairs and resolve issues efficiently.

4. Site Management:
– Manage electrical work across different sites in the NCR and nearby localities.
– Coordinate with site managers and other team members to ensure smooth operations and timely completion of tasks.
– Maintain an inventory of electrical supplies and ensure that necessary materials are available for site work.
– Ensure that all electrical work is performed in compliance with safety standards and regulations.

5. Documentation and Reporting:
– Maintain detailed records of electrical work performed, including installations, repairs, and maintenance.
– Prepare reports on the status of electrical systems, highlighting any issues or areas for improvement.
– Document all testing procedures and results, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
– Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding the progress and status of electrical work.

6. Safety and Compliance:
– Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while performing electrical work.
– Ensure that all electrical systems and installations comply with local and national electrical codes.
– Conduct safety inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement corrective measures.
– Participate in safety training programs and stay updated with the latest safety practices and standards.

7. Technical Skills Development:
– Continuously update technical knowledge and skills related to electrical systems and components.
– Participate in training programs and workshops to enhance technical expertise.
– Apply new knowledge and skills to improve the efficiency and quality of electrical work.

8. Customer Service:
– Interact professionally with clients and site managers, providing excellent customer service.
– Address client concerns and questions regarding electrical systems and provide appropriate solutions.
– Ensure that client expectations are met or exceeded by delivering high-quality electrical services.

9. Team Collaboration:
– Work collaboratively with other electricians, technicians, and team members to achieve project goals.
– Share knowledge and expertise with team members to enhance overall team performance.
– Participate in team meetings and provide updates on electrical work and site activities.
– Support team members in troubleshooting and resolving complex electrical issues.

ITI Electrician job-Qualifications and Skills:

– ITI (Industrial Training Institute) certification in Electrical or a related field.
– 2-3 years of hands-on experience in electrical connection work, earthing testing, and maintenance and repair of electrical systems.
– Strong knowledge of electrical codes, safety standards, and regulations.
– Proficiency in using electrical testing equipment and tools.
– Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
– Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
– Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing electrical work.
– Good communication and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
– Willingness to travel to different sites within the NCR and nearby localities.
– Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
