Position Overview-Sales Marketing job
The Sales Marketing job will be responsible for developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies to drive revenue growth and expand our customer base. This role requires a deep understanding of the chemical industry, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in sales and marketing. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the chemical or related industries.
Key Responsibilities-Sales Marketing job
1. Sales Strategy and Execution:
– Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company sales targets and objectives.
– Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and prospecting.
– Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers to ensure long-term business growth.
– Conduct regular sales visits to clients and prospects to promote our products and services.
– Negotiate and close sales deals, ensuring mutually beneficial terms for both the company and the customer.
2. Marketing Strategy and Campaigns:
– Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans to promote our products and increase brand awareness.
– Collaborate with the marketing team to create engaging and impactful marketing materials, including brochures, presentations, and digital content.
– Plan and manage marketing campaigns across various channels, including online, print, and events.
– Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, providing regular reports and recommendations for improvement.
– Coordinate with external agencies and vendors to ensure timely and effective execution of marketing activities.
3. Customer Relationship Management:
– Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients, addressing their needs and resolving any issues promptly.
– Conduct regular follow-ups with customers to ensure satisfaction and gather feedback on our products and services.
– Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions and sales activities in the CRM system.
– Develop and implement customer retention strategies to foster loyalty and repeat business.
– Organize and participate in customer meetings, presentations, and events to strengthen relationships and drive sales.
4. Market Research and Analysis:
– Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and threats in the chemical industry.
– Analyze competitors’ products, pricing, and marketing strategies to identify areas for differentiation and improvement.
– Prepare and present market intelligence reports to senior management, providing insights and recommendations for strategic decision-making.
– Stay updated on industry developments, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies that may impact the business.
5. Product Knowledge and Training:
– Develop a thorough understanding of our product portfolio, including features, benefits, and applications.
– Provide product training and support to the sales team, ensuring they are well-equipped to promote and sell our products effectively.
– Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to clients and prospects, highlighting the value and benefits of our offerings.
– Collaborate with the research and development team to provide customer feedback and insights for product improvement and innovation.
6. Collaboration and Teamwork:
– Work closely with the sales, marketing, and product development teams to ensure alignment and coordination of efforts.
– Participate in regular sales and marketing meetings to discuss strategies, progress, and challenges.
– Share best practices and insights with team members to enhance overall performance and achieve common goals.
– Support cross-functional initiatives and projects as needed to drive business growth and efficiency.
7. Reporting and Performance Management:
– Prepare and submit regular sales and marketing reports to senior management, highlighting key activities, results, and insights.
– Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of sales and marketing efforts.
– Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to enhance performance and achieve targets.
– Participate in performance reviews and provide feedback to management on individual and team performance.
Qualifications and Skills-Sales Marketing job
– Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Chemistry, or a related field. A master’s degree or MBA is a plus.
– Experience: 1-3 years of experience in sales and marketing, preferably in the chemical or related industries.
– Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi. Ability to convey information clearly and persuasively.
– Sales Skills: Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth. Strong negotiation and closing skills.
– Marketing Skills: Solid understanding of marketing principles and strategies. Experience in planning and executing marketing campaigns.
– Customer Service Skills: Strong customer orientation with the ability to build and maintain relationships. Excellent problem-solving skills.
– Technical Skills: Proficiency in using CRM software, MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and marketing automation tools.
– Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze market data, sales reports, and campaign performance metrics. Strong attention to detail.
– Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, clients, and external partners.
