Position Overview-Quality Engineer job

The Quality Engineer will play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of quality for our products. This position involves overseeing the quality control processes, implementing quality management systems, and continuously improving our manufacturing practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance and control within the manufacturing sector, with a particular focus on precision machining and casting processes.

 Key Responsibilities-Quality Engineer job

Quality Management and Assurance
Quality Control Plans: Develop, implement, and maintain quality control plans for various manufacturing processes, including precision machining, forging, and casting.
Inspection and Testing: Conduct detailed inspections and testing of components to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
Non-Conformance Management: Identify, document, and address non-conformances, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Supplier Quality Assurance: Evaluate and monitor the quality performance of suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring they meet our quality standards.

Process Improvement
Root Cause Analysis: Conduct root cause analysis of quality issues and implement effective corrective actions.
Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, reduce waste, and improve manufacturing efficiency.
Lean Manufacturing: Apply lean manufacturing principles to streamline processes and eliminate defects.

Documentation and Reporting
Quality Documentation: Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of quality inspections, test results, and corrective actions.
Quality Reports: Prepare and present regular quality reports to management, highlighting key quality metrics and improvement initiatives.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry standards, customer requirements, and regulatory requirements.
